On site: Yesterday the first building of our project for the Keerdok quarter in Mechelen has reached its highest point. In support of its ambition to become a new sustainable green quarter the mayor of Mechelen Bart Somers, the aldermen for Urbanism, Greet Geypen, and both our clients Global Estate Group and DCA Woonprojecten took the initiative to plant the traditional topping tree as the beginnings of a new public park, designed by OKRA. Modest in size but generous in its ambition to provide high quality housing for those in need. For Dijledal we will design a compact building that completes the new Burenberg quarter, developed by ION and POLO.

Book: We are very proud to contribute to the Pilootprojecten Zorg. Five ambitious clients each presented innovative ideas about 'care.' We matched these clients with five design teams to develop groundbreaking health care projects. Alongside Sergison Bates Architects and Tom Thys Architecten, we worked on the De Korenbloem project in Kortrijk. Recently, BWMSTR and Departement Zorg Vlaanderen compiled the research, knowledge, and lessons learned into this publication.
Work: In northern France, we recently submitted the planning application for a large family home. The house sits in the polder between two historic dune formations. It celebrates the vast landscape with a long covered outdoor space that connects all the main living areas.
Work: We are super happy to have received planning approval for this residential project located on a prominent site in the Rozemaai quarter in Antwerp. Two, almost equal volumes, sit side by side to define a new urban ensemble that forms the face of the residential quarter.
On site: We have started construction on the Keerdok peninsula in Mechelen.
Book: Herscheppen: Ontwerpend Onderzoek voor het Projectbureau Herbestemming Kerken 2016-2021. For several decades, the use of churches has been declining. This decline has created a need for new uses for these buildings. From 2016 to 2021, Flemish local authorities could apply to the ‘Projectbureau Herbestemming Kerken’ for assistance in repurposing their church building.
Book: We are thrilled about the publication of AMAG31! It features work from three Belgian offices. We proudly share the pages with @jotaillieuarchitecten and @grauxbaeyens.architecten.

Work: In Muide (Gent), we presented the ongoing development of the shelter project for CAW Oost-Vlaanderen.
Work: Located on the fringes of an historic dune landscape and polder in Northern france, this site is challenging us to develop new project ideas that engage with the landscape and its history of cultivation.
On site: Preview of the brickwork for a residential project in a Brussels area known for its warehouses. Inspired by the rich architecture of these buildings, we designed a brick motif that adds depth and meaning to the project.
Book: We're happy to say that our visitor center project at Prinsenpark is now featured in the last issue #298 Oct-Nov of A+!
Book: Honored to be part of the 'Jaarboek architectuur Vlaanderen'.
Work: We are excited to see this residential project in Brussels nearing completion. The design features green sandblasted concrete, brushed eucalyptus render, and gently curved balusters. Our goal was to bring refinement to this long-neglected area near the canal.
Event: Earlier this year opened the "PREFIGURATIONS"! Our project De Korenbloem is one of the 40 works selected. Come check it out !
